Our Mission Statement:
​The Humane Society of Henderson County (HSHC) is a 501(c)3 charitable  organization in Henderson, Kentucky.

Our organization is dedicated to the elimination of cruelty, abuse, neglect, and abandonment of domestic companion animals. We provide a sanctuary for the unwanted, abandoned, abused, neglected, and homeless animals in Henderson County, ensuring they receive the care and attention they deserve. Through our efforts, we strive to place these animals in loving homes after they have been spayed or neutered. As a proud no-kill facility since 2022, we remain committed to promoting the welfare and dignity of all animals in our care.
